Jeffrey S. Katz, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey S. Katz joined the Kalt-Goldberg Eye Center in 2016. Prior to that, Dr. Katz practiced for 38 years at Ophthalmology Associates P.C. offices in Southfield and West Bloomfield where he practiced comprehensive ophthalmology and performed thousands of eye surgeries. At Kalt-Goldberg, Dr. Katz continues to practice complete medical eye care including glaucoma care, pre and post cataract evaluations, and general eye examinations.
Dr. Katz received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from the University of Connecticut. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1973. Dr. Katz did his internship at the University of California San Francisco Mt. Zion Hospital and Medical Center. He did his residency at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, where he was chief resident in 1977. Dr. Katz was Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1978. At the Kalt-Goldberg Eye Center, he looks forward to providing continued care to his prior patients from Ophthalmology Associates and to meeting and providing comprehensive care to new patients.
Out of the office, Dr. and Mrs. Katz enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. He is enjoys spending time golfing and recently accomplished an amazing hole in one.
