For persistent or severe cases, The Kalt-Goldberg Eye Center offers premium oil gland treatments and intense pulsed light therapy (IPL).

Intense Pulsed Light

PL is an advanced in-office procedure designed to clean the eyelid margins, unblock oil glands, and reduce redness, irritation, and tearing associated with dry eye and chronic blepharitis.

IPL is typically done in four sessions, spaced two to four weeks apart, with maintenance sessions performed every 6-12 months as needed.Upon consultation for IPL, skin typing and thorough medical history are taken to ensure patient eligibility.

IPL can be combined with Blephex lid cleaning and Tearcare gland expression for optimal relief.

If you are interested in IPL, it is recommended to wear daily mineral sunblock with coverage of at least spf 30 for one month prior to and following treatments.

Great staff. I love how thorough and complete Dr. Kizzy and her staff is. They are quick and organized. I have a severe condition with my eyes & if at anytime I’m having problems, their office gets to the bottom of things right away. They are sufficient and does great work.
